Gay Lea Foods is proud to share the news of our On Co-op 2015 Ontario Co-operative Education award in recognition of our dedication to lifelong learning.
Our programs include the Co-operative Leadership Program, which prepares a new generation of delegates and directors. We also offer Leadership in Governance: By farmers for farmers, for delegate and director development.
Our Lighthouse Program is an eight module, 16-day program that develops employees’ understanding of the business and their individual leadership skills.
We also reach out to youth. The co-operative has been a long-time supporter of the Ontario Co-operative Young Leaders program for teens, offering mentorship each summer at camp.
We welcome school and community groups to the Gay Lea Dairy Heritage Museum in Aylmer. Visitors will soon learn more about co-operation and Ontario’s dairy heritage through an interactive program.
Gay Lea Foods believes in strong leadership in the co-op sector, and in the community. We look forward to continued commitment to education.
