Roast Beef and Horseradish
Roast Beef and Horseradish Grilled Cheese
Simply put, this is one of the most satisfying sandwiches you?ll ever eat. For extra ease, buy already sliced Cheddar. Mayonnaise can easily be used to replace the horseradish.

Ingredients:
| 8 | slices Country white or whole wheat bread, 1/4-inch (5 mm) thick | 8 |
| 2 tbsp | drained prepared white horseradish | 25 mL |
| 4 | large slices rare roast beef | 4 |
| 8 | slices Old Cheddar Cheese | 8 |
| 4 | lettuce leaves | 4 |
| 1/4 cup | Gay Lea Spreadable Butter | 50 mL |
Instructions:
Place 4 slices of bread on work surface. Spread horseradish evenly over top. Top each with one slice of cheese, slice of roast beef and lettuce leaf. Top with remaining cheese and bread. Spread half of butter over top of bread.
Place sandwiches, buttered side down, two at a time, in non-stick skillet set over medium heat. Spread half of remaining butter over top of bread. Cook for about 5 minutes or underside of bread is golden and cheese has started to melt. Flip sandwiches over; cook for 3 to 4 minutes longer or until underside is golden and cheese is melted.
Repeat with remaining sandwiches and butter.
Makes 4 sandwiches.
