(Simply Elegant Strawberries)

Dress up your strawberries for an elegant summer's evening

Ingredients:

1/3 cup	packed brown sugar	75 ml
1/3 cup	Gay Lea Sour Cream (Low Fat or Regular)	75 ml
1/2 tsp	vanilla	2ml
12	large Ontario strawberries	12

Instructions:

Press brown sugar through fine mesh sieve into bowl.

In another bowl, whisk together sour cream and vanilla. Hold strawberries by stem end and dip each one into sour cream mixture then into brown sugar. Makes 12 strawberries.

Tip: Be sure to pat strawberries dry before dipping to ensure sour cream sticks to the berries. At casual gatherings, let your guests dip their own strawberries.
Note: Brown sugar melts into the sour cream as they sit.
