We are very excited to share the news that Gay Lea Foods has been recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers 2010.
This prestigious list appears in the October 8 edition of Maclean’s magazine and the October 9 issue of the Globe and Mail. We were also fortunate in being selected for a special profile in this newspaper, with President and CEO Andy MacGillivray being interviewed by a Globe and Mail reporter. You can find a copy of the Globe and Mail article on the Gateway.
This is not the first time that Gay Lea has been recognized as a top employer. This award comes after two consecutive years of our co-operative being named among the top GTA employers.
We are especially proud because this year was a record year for the number of applications that were submitted.
The selection criteria for these awards are based on physical workplace, work atmosphere and social, health, financial & family benefits, vacation and time off, employee communications, performance management, training and skills development, and community involvement.
Congratulations to all our employees, whose enthusiasm and dedication make Gay Lea a great place to work!
