GTA's Top 75 Employers for 2009
Each year, the competition reviews over 50,000 companies across Canada and invites about one quarter of them to send in an application. Winners are selected in several categories and regional competitions. The selection criteria for the awards include communications, work atmosphere, composition of workforce, training and development opportunities, health and financial benefits and compensation, and physical environment. The results, which are published in national newspapers and magazines, assist in defining best practices across Canadian companies of all sizes.
Our accomplishments this year are two-fold. Gay Lea was included in a special section of the Toronto Star on Saturday, October 18, which featured Greater Toronto's Top 75 Employers. We also made the shortlist for the Top 250 companies in Canada!
