Health Benefits
Milk is our number one source of calcium, phosphorus, riboflavin, and vitamin D. It is among the top three sources of protein, vitamins A and B12, as well as potassium and zinc. Other milk products contain varying amounts of the same nutrients. This abundance of nutrients works together to benefit overall health. More than just a weapon against osteoporosis and dental cavities, dairy products have been shown to help reduce the risk of developing kidney stones, hypertension, diabetes, PMS, certain cancers (e.g. colon and breast cancers), and obesity in men and women.
