We are very excited to share the news that Gay Lea Foods has been recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers 2011.
We are very excited to share the news that Gay Lea Foods has been once more been recognized as one of Canada's top 100 employers. This prestigious list appeared in today's (Friday, October 15) copy of the Globe and Mail.
This is not the first time that Gay Lea has been recognized as a top em-ployer. This award comes after three consecutive years of our co-operative being named among the top GTA employers and last year also making it on to the list of top 100 companies in Canada.
We are especially proud because this year was a record year for the number of applications that were submitted.
The selection criteria for these awards are based on physical workplace, work atmosphere and social, health,financial & family benefits, vacation and time off, employee communications, performance management, training and skills development, and community involvement.
